It's probably because she is far more talented than most other girls (people) and way prettier than most. I think that the fact that she is also successful just rubs it in a little and adds more fuel to the fire of those who dislike her.

I do like Carrie Underwood myself...I like Kelly Pickler better...but Underwood is a good singer!
