There are no silly remedies.
Hydration is the key here. Drink plenty of water and vit. C rich drinks. Once you've got the flu you must let it run it's course. Tylenol for discomfort or fever and Immodium for the diarrhea.
Prevention is the key!! Good hand washing, eating healthy and staying well hydrated. Taking a multi-vitamin helps build your immune system!
Good luck....like they say, 'tis the season....for the flu that is!!

There is no quick remedy for the flu. Influenza is viral.
There is a pill you can take if you catch it in time. i have never tried it so I don't know if it works.
Drink a lot of CLEAR fluids and sleep it off. Chicken broth - for whatever reason - seems to help.
Try a spoon full of honey if you have a sore throat.

Hi Brendan M,there is no quick remedy. It is up to your immune system to kill off the invaders.Basically what one needs to do is boost their immune system.A sensible diet and regular exercise would be a start. If you are over 18 and tend to be sickly then you may want a good natural nutrient to boost it.Try www.cell911.info
