I had unprotected sex on my 'most fertile days' and i have been feeling really nausea and tired and I have really bad heart burn/gas. I took a Home test and it came up negative, but my period is almost 2 weeks late now, is it possible to get a negative and still be pregnant?

Whenever you have unprotected sex, there is always a possibility of getting pregnant (not to mention contracting an STD!). The only real way to tell if you are pregnant is to visit your doctor who will give you a blood test. Blood detects the pregnancy hormone before urine does. That is why home tests do not always produce accurate results - timing is a key (it is often recommended to wait 10 days after possible fertilization before doing a home test)!

Bottom line - for peace of mind, make an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can! In the meantime, for more information of signs of pregnancy, check out http://parenting.ivillage.com/pregnancy/pfirsttri/topics/0,,4rq3,00.html?.

it is possible, though i have apersonal reference, my friend believed she was pregnant, and had the same feelings as you, but it turned out it was just stress buildup, which can also be happening to you. Thought it wouldn't explain the late period, but maybe you are begining to have an irregular period, not all periods happen at the same day exacly, somtimes they are a week or two off.. Maybe in about another week try a preg. test again and if it comes up negitive again, then you are surly not

:-D Good luck

It is possible. Some of those test just don't seem to pick up the hcg hormone very well. The best advise I can give you is to just make a run to your doctors office and have blood work done. If there's even a tace amount of the hormone in your blood, you'll know.
It sure sounds like you have some good symptoms girl!!!!
Good luck!!

Yes it is possible. Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate. If you want to know, go to your gyno. They'll be able to tell you if you are or not.

You could be. It could also be any number of other things. Please see a doctor. We can't tell you any more than you already know yourself.
