With valentine's day coming up I thought it would be nice to think back about past valentine's days. My favorite v-day memory was coming home after a long day at work to find the lights out and the bedroom filled with candles. My love was waiting for me with an amazing dinner (he's a chef) and we ate and talked by candlelight before moving on to other things..... It was so romantic and sweet, especially since we weren't supposed to celebrate valentine's day until the following Saturday.

On a long hike one winter, my boyfriend and I found a heart shaped piece of flint in a creek bed. The flint had a small hole in it and seemed to have been worked by human hands. We kept the rock and one valentines day my boyfriend had it wire wrapped with sterling silver and transformed into a beautiful pendant. It is my favorite piece of jewelry. When he gave it to me, I cried.

My worst present for V day replaced into no longer receiving any. It got here about in my teenage years, once you get so gentle approximately each and everything. My friends have been showing me what they have been given from their boyfriends, and that i could no longer do the comparable situation, as i replaced into no longer relationship all people yet. It felt rather undesirable then, yet now i will think of approximately it with a grin on my face, because of the fact now i be attentive to each physique gets her "present" whilst the time comes. ;)

i rec'd 2 dozens red roses at my office...i love roses so much and they were the most beautiful roses i ever saw....
