Honey I know Meth user and any other substances abuser can be delivered from their demon. I have a friend named Cathy. She's been on all kinds of drugs, alcohol, sex everything you can think of, she was literally a human trash can. But the hand of God touch her one day she was at her lowest of lows. Felt like giving up, didn't have anything to live for, so she thought. But God!!! He saw her right where she was, she wasn't a christian yet, but He still picked her up out of her slum life and gave her new life. She was talking to a lady and she offered Christ to her. Cathy embraced Him and had been delivered every since. Was it a tough time, yes. The devil doesn't play fair, he would send those old dealers she made friends around and people who were in the same boat she once was in. She denied them all and followed Jesus. Now God is showing up in her life more than ever. SHe's beautiful, she has a life back, her son. And the greatest thing all the very thing she didn't have before, she has LOVE. The love of God will penetrate your heart and knock back all evil. I love God and I love her. She's a living testimony that God can turn anybody around. So if you know someone in that situation, instead of counting them out, or feeling as though life has ended for them. Call on God on their behalf and let Him lift that person to a higher height and transform them, literally. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God, He said He's come to set the captive free. Any body that's in bondage of anything. Drugs, finances, poverty, sexual desries, depression, the list goes on. Anything that's not of God, Christ has come to break it out of our life. Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!

The short answer is yes, it can be done. Here's the rest of the story.
Very few can really kick if they are long term users. My son was able only after I moved him and his family 250 miles away from anyone they knew. I told him if I found out that he had touched it again, I would take his children away from him for good. He did kick it, clean for over 6 years now. The thing with meth is it attacks the pleasure/reward center of the brain. This is the area that makes you feel good when you do something nice like buying flowers for your girlfriend, or a toy for your kids. A long term meth user has replaced all the pleaure from these type of actions with the meth. It becomes the ONLY thing that will make them feel good. Once this area of the brain is damaged, it does not repair itself, ever.

The only people in this world that can give you truth about any addiction is the people that had the addiction.
There is absolutely no advice you can give an addict if you haven t been one.
Offer your love, your support, but don t be a codependent.
The hardest drug to kick......is the one you re addicted to.
One addict helping another addict is without parallel.

They lose control and can be easily provoked. They can kick the habit but, they will need all the support they can get. Also they need to want it too!
