I see your restriction on 10 words or less, but reading this thread I just see so much blind steretyping:
An American is just like anyone else in the world, we are a very very diverse population that is still, IMO trying to define itself as a nation, (we're only +-200 y/o, for chrissake and struggling w/ the question wether to have English a national language or not, instead of taking care of other more pressing things).
Please dont measure 300 million people with the same stick. Is like saying all Brits are snobs and have bad teeth and all the French are cowards and dont like bathing. BTW that is absolutely NOT my opinion.
