Get a grip! No divorced and remarried candidate has EVER won a Presidential election.
Trust me, the Republicans won't stand for it.
I really wouldn't get my panties in a twist over it.

First of all, I don't know who I want to be president. :)
But that aside, many of our former presidents led pretty questionable private lives. The only difference between then and now is that we are all hooked up to this lovely internet. So the second something happens and it's about a famous person it's splashed all over the websites.
Guilliani is human. He has a lot of faults. Some of those faults make me wonder if I'd like him all that much as a person if I ever met him. It's also been argued that he is racist.
However, he did some really effective things while serving as mayor. Many argue that he turned NYC around. I don't just mean right after 9/11, which is what most people remember him for. I mean back when he first started office and the crime rate started dropping and the subways got safer and the streets got cleaner. A real leader creates positive change, and he certainly did that here.
Whatever you think about his private life, when he tackles an issue he gets results!

Sorry but almost ALL politicians are crooks in one way or another. I am not saying that I agree with his actions but everyone has skeletons in their closets. This goes for Ministers, Actors and politicians. They are human. No one is perfect and his actions don't necessarily mean that he wouldn't make a good president. I thought he handled 911 pretty well. I really don't know if I would vote for him or not I would have to do some research on his views but if I thought he was good for the job the affair would not be a factor in my decision.
By the way why is this in the gay and lesbian section???

I'll admit that what he did was wrong, but hey look at Clinton and his oval office escapades, and lots of people still love good old "slick willy"

Chris Matthews is right--we need a city boy now, someone who knows how to run a big city, not someone with a f***ing ranch!

As there is supposed to be a separation of church and state, I believe that there should be a separation of private and public life (to some exceptions).
...Why am I defending someone I hate? xD

I agree, but is there any one running who is really interested in saving anything or doing anything for normal people?
