A month ago the court orded my ex to do 3 things by the next time we had a court hearing (which is next week)
1.) Get the mortgage payments caught up on the house that we had shared when we were married and get my name taken off of the mortgage (which was actually supposed to be done a year ago).
2.) Get his child support caught up (he's 3 months behind).
3.) Get current on a credit card bill that he agreed to pay in the divorce (he had not paid a penny since May of '06)

Here is what he's actually done since the court demanded he do these things.

1.) Lost the house in a sherrif's sale (with my name still on the mortgage)
2.) Has become even more behind in his child support payments.
3.) Told the credit card company he refuses to pay on the card.

I have a feeling that he's not going to show up for court? If they put a warrant out for his arrest but he lives an hour away from the court what can be done? Any ideas or suggestions?

Wow, sounds like another winner. The judge will not be happy, and probably find him in contempt of court. If he doesn't show, it will probably work in your favor more, because he is showing the judge disregard/disrespect. Distance means nothing, he will be caught sooner or later. Don't have your panties in such a bunch! One friend of mine tells me that revenge and spite is like swallowing poison yourself and expecting the other person to die. He is a slime. He ruined your credit. He is a dead beat-surprised? He is "refusing" to pay the credit card bill. He is sticking it to you every chance he gets. This will be the norm. Don't expect any less. Expect more to come. Move on and repair what can be repaired. Always be honest and hold integrity to yourself and your morals/values/beliefs. Don't get vindictive. Karma is a female dog, or your benefactor. Good things will come back around to you if you handle this right.

The court may issue a bench warrant, if he gets pulled over for anything traffic-wise he'll be arrested. The court may also reschedule the court date if his attorney shows up on his behalf and has some explanations as to why he's disobeying a court order. If they find him to be a deadbeat parent, give the Friend of the Court his home and work address, they tend to be more proactive about child support.

Not much. If they put a warrant out they still will not go looking for him. But if he does something stupid like getting pulled over for a traffic ticket they will arrest him. The jails are full so it is highly unlikely they will go looking for him.
You can take him to small claims court and have a judgment against him, that way you can garnish his wages if he does not pay.
Call your local state's child support enforcement about getting his child support garnished from his pay checks. If he gets behind too far they will suspend his license and can actually serve up to 30 days in jail for failure to pay. I know I did this to my daughters sperm donor. He has not paid in 13 years.
Good luck.

This sucks I am sorry that this guy has turned out to be such a loser. I think that the only thing that you can do is show up and if he doesn't they will put a warrant out for his arrest. If he gets pulled over he will be taken to jail. Also, if you have your own attorney you can also have his wages garnished if he has a job. Good luck.

No show: he gets a bench warrent issued. i suppose there were consiquences laid out if he did not take care of his goals in that month, so they go into effect. Most likely, his bail will be the amount he owes for child support. The distance he lives from teh court house has nothing to do with it. he can still get there.

The only thing you can get him on is the back child support. Unfortunately, refusing to pay a credit card bill and loosing a house are not criminal offences.

What ever the court said and it has to be documented sighed by a Judge he has to comply with with no question seems you win by default and yes he is going to jail. Judges don't like it when you defy their orders. Basically he is liable for the whole casaba.
