I don't now. I only check my mail once a week or so because it's too cold and there's too much snow around it. It's a community postbox.
I used to have a very special connection with my postbox when I was living in Austria for 18 months and my fiance (now husband) was in the states. My life revolved around the mail delivery. It's kind of amazing that I didn't end up having an affair with the letter carrier. JK

Cannot belive you have POSTED this one!
I studied at Cambridge And lived at riverside (theres a huge tesco nearby now but totaly irelevent to my story) around the corner was the only postbox i have ever seen with large red metal spikes on it. Was very old and round. Tourists always used to take photos of it!
If I had fallen on it on the way home then i guess i would of had some kind of connection with it!

Ya. It hates me. A lot. It never brings me anything I want and it always tries to eat my Publisher's Clearing House stuff!!!!

yes... it is a cv joint type of assembly that runs from my little toe to the victorian styled decals on the top of it.
