U can buy more memory and plug it in ur ram slot. Or u can do this also - increase ur computer's virtual memory. U can do it by right clicking My Computer icon on desktop and selecting Properties and then going to performance

Buy an external drive/flash memory drive. Pictures take up tons of memory. Upload them onto those and compress them. Then, check your computer for viruses and backup files not in recent use.
Jpegs aren't the best way to store files. Try using .png compression.

to increase your p.c,s memory you need to first check the type of memory your p.c uses, you can do this by going to http://www.crucial.com/,and clicking the "scan my system" icon
this will scan your p.c and deliver you a in-depth report on what memory modules your computer needs, then you can either buy it direct from crucial(recommended) or buy it from your local computer shop
i allways recommend users to double their memroy(ram) so if you have 512mb ram, then you need to purchase another 512mb ram module,if you have 1gb ram then buy another 1gb module
this will ensure you see a marked improvement in performance, and that your upgrades were a worthwhile venture
the cheapest and most reliable memory is kingston and corsair,i use kingston value memory and i find it 100% reliable
any probs let me know
good luck

there's several things you can do, the one which requires the least effort is buying an external hard drive, you can get reasonable ones for not much money and they're normally quite big.
You could delete anything unwanted from your hard drive.
or you could back up all the stuff you want and reformat your entire computer, i'm sure htat would clear up some space.
