you've got to be able to sing at a certain standard they want... just watch the auditions and you'll know what they are looking for. If you haven't got the voice to sing on tune.. then don't bother trying out! I don't understand how some people who cannot sing bother to try out.... and what's worse is they get all vulgar and pissed that they didn't make it (to Hollywood)..
