While Australia, in their current form, are the hot favourites to
win the world cup, since cricket is a game of uncertainties, upsets can happen and as such their success cannot be guaranteed at this stage. Team like South Africa, India, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and New Zeland are capable to cusing upsets.

We cannot answer the qn. as such bcoz all the biggies have some surprising element in them. Australia may be the supreme but they fear teams like Newzeland, India, South Africa, etc.
And so we cannot say that this team will surely win. And also cricket is the craziest game where even the last ball may change the game.
BUT INDIA IS THE WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

australia and pakistan are the favourites.pakistan will have edge if they do good in s.africa.
england will be rubbish.they are full of 'bat abit bowl abit'players.
india have a chance if they win most their tosses and bat first .
s. africa are third favourites because they know they are not quite good enough.which is a good frame of mind to get top performances.
Srilanka must have a chance because ian botham said so.

pakistan should win easy. they have experiance and talent with the ball and the bat. youngsters are proving themselves and by the worldcup all players will be in top form. all i can say is good luck to the rest of the world
