Well there was an article about teen pregnacy and birth control on Cnn.com sayingthat although 95% of teens take it its 50% less effective than it was 20 years ago. So don't always blame the teen sex is a natural experience weather we like it or not. Instead ask the pharmacutil companies that u pay to keep your teen safe y they put less of the drung in her pill.

I feel, and this is my own personal opinion, that yes, there are too many teen pregnancies. These teens should be more worried about school, work, getting into college, and what to do w/their lives more than having sex w/a boy. Sex feels good & all, but you should do it with someone that you love & loves you back. These teen boys dont want to be daddies. Most of them wont stick around. It's sad. Teens have enough problems to worry about, and sex should not be one of them.

Even in this new modern age of knowledge, we STILL have way too many teen pregnancies. So many of them come from a one time of unprotected sex. As educated as we all think we are, especially teens, taking chances is a common factor for unwanted pregnancies.

wow, now i have heard all of the stupid questions. Any amount of teen pregnancies is too many. I had my first child when I was 16 and I wish that I would never have had sex in the first place. It was the hardest thing I have ever done, being a mother in high school.

Unfortunately we have way too many. And i'm sure it will get worse.

Moral values are passed down from parent to child so
It's an on going cycle, If a girl has her child at 14-16, how can she possibly teach her daughter not to do the same.

Too many. But in my view, if chavs want to get pissed and high and whatever, sleep around unprotected and up getting pregnant, then, LOL. Hope the birth is painful.

We have WAY to MANY TEEN PREGNANCIES. If PARENTS start being PARENTS and STOP being their childrens FRIEND then maybe this trend will reverse itself.

Way too many............................. Parents need to teach their kids about protection, abstaining, and being responsible. And need to know where the kids are at all times. No reason for a 16 and under child to run wild

No, we need a lot more..also a lot more welfare babies and some crack babies too for good measure. Also, lots more illegitimate babies,so their moms can talk about their "baby's daddy",that seems to be the happening ghetto thing.Oh,it's a "trailer trash" thing, too, let me add that before anyone gets angry!
