A dude I was dating decided to book a hotel room for a night in Milano.
After a nice dinner and a few drinks we enjoyed a romatic evening in bed.
The next morning he woke up early and left me shivering while he packed hurriedly and dashed out the door.
I quickly and greedily ate all the snacks from the minibar including frozen snickers, which by the way are quite tasty, and quickly called the front desk, advising them to charge my friend's credit card.
Did I do anything remotely distasteful, well besides chowing down on the stale sour cream and onion chips, that is.

Did you tell him that frustration builds character?

Did you wash your hands before eating the snickers? (Which hopefully WERE snickers before being frozen.) Otherwise you were right to charge the ungrateful fellow's card as his behavior was that of a person running off before paying for services, thus implying that what he got did not live up to it's billing. How clever of you to confirm that he was in fact a sucker in more ways than one.

If you passed up alcohol for a Snickers you most assuredly did something wrong! If you got the alcohol then you are okay, a little tacky but okay.

Well, being our Lord, I guess it isn't possible for you to do anything wrong, since YOU would be the one defining right and wrong. But for me, I kind of think that what you did was wrong. You have been dating him, and so I suspect that there is something else going on. Please give him a chance to explain. And of course, if it WAS milkbone, LUCKY YOU!!!! I am soooooo jealous!
Edit -- Wait, maybe I mean lucky HIM!!!! Now I am all confused!!!!

Try talking to him about it. It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong.

You could have just taken the chips instead of eating them.
You could also have taken the clean towels, robes, ashtrays, etc.!
But this was a good start. :-)
