There is nothing here in manchester. My kids are gutted that all of birmingham are off school and not them! If the snow turns up overnight their dad is gonna take em to school on the sledge. I hate the snow though i cry at cold feet. Wimp I know.

We had stacks of it. Deep enough so it crunches under your feet and you still don't touch the ground. I took my dog out he's a shih-tzu you know big fluff ball. It's the 1st time he's seen snow and he loved it. I had to chase him and dive on him to catch him. One thing about that type of dog is the snow sticks to the fur and turns into balls of ice. It took an hour at least to thaw him out.

Some-one did, 'cos it was on the telly - not the snow, but pictures of it.. Certainly very little in Ulster.
