Ok, I read the dark tower etc.. I wanted to know the name of the fictional author who wrote Charlie the Choo Choo, I think that was in the wastelands book (its been a while), the same train was a ride at the fair in the ending of the book cell. Also, was the world from cell the same dimensional world from the wastelands or any of the other dark tower books like the stand was. ALSO if you know any other neat correlations between some of the books that aren't the obvious salems lot type stand outs post them here please.

Almost all of his books make some reference to the Dark Tower world. I'm not sure about Cell, but I know most of them do.

I just looked at the book, and in Jake's when the author was Beryl Evans. In Roland's when the author's name changed to Claudia Y' Inez Bachman.

Jessie P has the names of the authors correct. Claudia Inez Bachman was the fictional wife of the fictional author Richard Bachman, a pen name King used for a few years. He added the extra 'Y' to her name in The Dark Tower series to make the number of letters add up to 19 which becomes an important part of the story.

Lots of books are linked to the Dark Tower, Hearts in Atlantis but especially Insomnia which contains the character Patrick Danville who will become important in the last DT book - Insomnia is also about the Crimson King. Rose Madder isn't one of King's best books but the main character gets sucked into a picture and ends up in Rolands world. My husband hasn't read DT but still loved Insomnia and Hearts in Atlantis.

Have you read "Hearts in Atlantis"? There are references to the other dimensions in that. Low men, etc.
