I used to by into the "woman's right to choose" BS until I saw a video of an abortion here. When I saw the little hand come out, it was apparent that it is not right to have an abortion.

I have not changed my political views because of Yahoo answers. However I have learned a few things from people and now understand their point of view. The arguments that I see from a lot of people on here are because they have a specific feeling for something such as we need to have a National Healthcare system for everyone.

This borders on socialism to me, which is a mild form communism. Basically what you are doing is taking the right to make your own decision about healthcare and making it the decision of the state. That is like having the state monitoring Yahoo Answers and fining or arresting people because we have state controlled free speech. Your basically losing your freedoms.

I believe that government should be responsible for law making, enforcement, military and national security and should stay out of my life. I don't believe that it is my responsibility or the governments responsibility to provide welfare, healthcare, or the other programs that people are saying that we need reform.

So reform in my eyes is just another step we are taking towards a state controlled system or communism. Socialism is a mild form of communism in my eyes. This is the primary difference between democrats and republicans.

People come here to tell people the answers. Even when they ask a question, They have the "correct" answer picked out before its even added by another user. I doubt complex issues like political views are easily swayed by an avatar.

aFRAID SO. While listening to the Bush basshers I realized just how short sighted the veiws we're and looking back as far as Reagan through Clinton I have to admit, events taken into consideration leaves me to no other alternatives but to support and hope the best for this administration in it;s final years. Looking to something like Hillary or the crackhead Obaba Louie makes Bush basshers like idiots and I assume no further affiliation with them.

Changed my views? No! However, I have found many answers which have caused me to me look deeper into issues and give better critical examination to certain facts. My core beliefs do not change, nor am I looking for them to, but I like honest intelligent debate and often times do find points of middle ground with people I disagree with.

Not me but I have opened dialogs with some interesting, intelligent Democrats (I'm republican) via e-mail. They have made some good arguments against mine and vise verse but they haven't changed my ideas as much as they have changed my approach to certain issues but not my views.

Now even in this simple question you've brought out morons who will chose insults to rational argument......there is allot more of them on Y/A than the rational and intelligent

No, but I am learning! I had the impression that Hillary Clinton was the favored candidate in the mainstream. From all the bashing I hear on here, I guess I was wrong!

I come here for entertainment more than anything else.. My father is a politician so I get challenged enough in the real world to have very stable beliefs.. something as feeble as Y!A doesn't budge me.
