I am 40 weeks pregnant....this is my first child and my due date was on the 2nd of february... Is it normal 2 be late. I am have a boy.

it is VERY normal....especially with your first one. just know there are lots of things people can suggest to you to help you go into labor....but none of them will be effective if your body AND the baby aren't ready. :) just try to relax and rest....you'll need the energy soon :) good luck!

They say that normally your first child is overdue. Mine wasn't, I was 6 days early. Just give it a couple more days. You're not even a week over due yet. Good Luck and Congratulations in advance.

Yes it is normal to be late. Just know that your baby is due any minute. My daughter was due on March 20 last year and I had her on March 28. I was induced. Good luck and I wish you the best.

It's not abnormal. My friend was 2 weeks late with both of her children and had to be induced. Both babies were healthy and are currently in great health. Hopefully, you are under the care of a physician...I'm sure if the baby doesn't come in a week or two they will induce you.
I know it's uncomfortable, but try to relax and enjoy the silence. Your little bundle of joy will be here soon... congratulations!

Yes I was 8 days late. It is more normal for first time moms to be late than not, and boys tend to be later than girls.

No, It just means that the babies not ready for birth just yet. Doctors can sometimes be off be a week or two, this kind of thing is happening every day. Please don't worry. Everything with be fine. Just pray about it and whatever happens is meant to happen. B/c that's God's plan for us. Your baby is a miracle and he will change you for the rest of your life.

Congrats!!!! and yes, it's normal, especially if you are having a boy. Mine was 5 days late. Don't worry, just be patient it can happen anytime soon.

yes, it is completely normal. Your dr. howeer shouldn't let you go more than 14 days passed your due date.
