well guys...id say USC, FL and LSU all ahve strong arguements as to why theyll have the ebst insoming class. sometimes its not about the ratings but what needs that team has and what players they got to fill that need. any way yuo look at it, this next year is shaping up to be yet another fantastic season of college football!! I CANT WAIT!!!!!

It has already been stated a few times here, but according to the scouts and "official" rankings the Florida Gators ended up with the best recruiting class. Given the talent that USC signed and who they will be returning expect them to be very competitive next year...I will give them at least #3 in the preseason rankings right up there with LSU and Florida.
Unfortunately my Seminoles didn't do so well this year according to the polls but in the ACC Miami and FSU should (SHOULD) be the top schools after a down year for both schools.
Early prediction for the BCS championship you heard here first..LSU vs. USC.

It's pretty much a toss-up between USC and UF for best recruiting class this year...I think the main reason that UF is ranked above USC by several recruiting analysts is due partly to the fact that UF has received 9 more commits than USC so far (27 vs 18). Despite this discrepancy, USC has managed to get as many 5-star recruits as UF...
on a side note, keep an eye out for Brandon Carswell, 4-star WR recruit for USC in the upcoming years...

Well I never buy into the rankings until years later when no one cares anymore. The class that had White and Bush together that was an amazing class. They almost had Maurice Drew in that class as well.
This years class has some potential superstars in Mcknight, Griffen and Ronald Johnson. Even the guys that are not receiving the press are potential superstars. I saw footage of this guy Green another RB and he would carry whole piles of high school kids with him as he ran. It was amazing to watch the power he ran with in high school. That Griffen kid is a 260 lbs DE that runs a 4.5 40. They say he will play regularly next season. It seems to be a great great class but only time will tell for sure.
LSU and Florida also had outstanding classes. LSU picked up a receiver who may end up being the next Jarrett.

I'm an LSU fan but my top 3 goes as follows
1 Florida
2 USC
3 LSU
but the difference between USC and LSU is very small. USC has some high quality atheletes but LSU's number is very helpful as well

florida has the best class, then it's usc. GO GATORS!!!
but you gotta give the trojans credit...they signed an average of ten less recruits than the rest of the top 10 and still managed to get the #2 class. too bad they ran out of scholarships to give out. plus they got five stars in a lot of positions: WR, DE, OL, LB, QB, RB (the two best RBs in the country)....they recruit like they don't have anyone on the team or something
the difference between florida, usc and everybody else is that the gators and trojans are willing to go all around the country to get guys and not just focus on one area. that's why when it comes to recruiting, florida and usc are far ahead of everyone else.

I was happy with Georgia Tech's class which was ranked 11th nationally. It will be exciting to watch these players develop. Of course USC and Florida got the cream of the crop as expected.

Florida rated #1 by scout and rivals
USC rated #1 by ESPN
They both have outstanding talent coming in. Like someone said only time will tell which class is actually better.
