They are FAKE just another way of soliciting prostitution! If you want to find a proper massage therapy look for a complementary therapist with qualifications, or someone who offers something called swedish massage. Hope this helps.

Advertising does not make them fake. There are many massage therapists that are well-qualified professionals. Alas, there are many that are not...

I would check to see if the therapists hold certification AND licensure (some states do not license massage therapists, but most do). A license would be a good start toward showing legitimacy.

Another thing you might consider is to get the massage through a clinic as opposed to a free-standing "massage parlour". Many chiropractors employ qualified massage therapists and you can access one in this way. Some orthopedists and physical therapists do as well. If you can not find one in your area this way, you may ASK the chiropractor (or ortho or PT) who they recommend... frequently they will know who is legit and who is not.

These are all surrogate advertisements to run some immoral activities. In the olden days, there used to be dancing schools. Now, the massage parlours or health clubs.

They are not fake. They will give you a massage with a "happy ending". Depending on which one you go to, they are prostitutes only after you have had a massage 3-4 times, and they feel comfortable that you are not a cop.--So I've heard.

If they are licenced they must follow their charter. They are shut down if they do not follow the charter.

Owners and the workers can end up in jail for prostitution, if the activity is not a part of their charter.

They could be. I know some give massages plus a little extra sumthin sumthin. There are usually great masseuses (spelling) in hair salons/day spas.
