Some scenes just won't let go, will they?

My most recent "grabber" was the movie "Secondhand Lions", with the scene at the end with the oil sheik telling the boy that all his uncles' "tall tales" were really true.

Walt Disney movie "Old Yeller" made me cry at the end, each time I watch that black and white classic. I believe a movie like that one makes good people shed tears.

I'm not really a crier. I don't cry at the stereotypical tearjerkers. My husband can sit and watch the truelife afternoon movie on Channel 5 and blub like a baby - or any sports movie where the hero overcomes all the odds to win!

I have only ever cried at a few films. The Snowman - where the snowman melts at the end and the boy falls to his knees....uuugh! The thought of it brings tears now!

When a Man Loves a Woman with Andy Garcia and Meg Ryan - it could be that I fancied Andy Garcia and really felt sorry for him. My friend and I blubbed in the car for half an hour before we could drive home from the cinema with that one!

ET can sometimes do it, but I have to be in the right (or wrong) frame of mind!

Cheesy Christmas movies can sometimes get me. I'm at my most sentimental at Christmas. The Christmas Shoes is a killer! The boy buying pretty shoes for his Mama on her deathbed....Aargh!

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Try watching the film "PIERREPOINT (The last Hangman)".It's about the life and times of Albert Pierrepoint - Britain's most prolific hangman. it was Niagara Falls for me. One scene towards the end is still in my memory and makes me well up even now. I don't watch anything with animals in it if I can help it. I howled when the Lion in Chronicles of Narnia died (much to my 5 year old embarrassment and even though I knew he be back). Thank god I'm not such a wuss in real life. Anyway...crying is good for the soul!

Yes. After AI I was depressed for a few days. And after reading The Reader by Bernard Schlink, I would find myself thinking about the main characters randomly for like a week. While I was reading the book I had to keep getting up to get tissue cause I'd just randomly start crying. haha, maybe Im just too emotional.

Yep. Every time I watch Armageddon I cry for about half an hour afterwards. Ive only got to see the Aerosmith music video and it gets me going again. That and anything to do with animals. Doesnt really take much!

There is an older movie called '' Brians Song '' that still makes chills go over my body, when i think about it. It was a story about 2 best friends who played ball together. Gayle Sayers and Brian Pickalo were the friends. Brian had cancer and died, this is a true
story and each time i see it i cry.
( i'm not sure how the names were spelled )

I cried for over an hour after watching Indecent Proposal. I could relate to a lot that the character David was going through. Brought back a lot of sad memories and confusion.

The Green Mile is very emotional at the ending. The Pursuit of Happyness is also very emotional, I had to wait for a while until everyone in the cinema had left so I could wipe my eyes.
