I love him and I think he genuinely cares about people. Its called tough love and REAL friends and loved ones will give you that sort of reality check when you need it because they love you. People volunteer for this show cause they need help and then insult him for helping just because they don't like what he says, but if you actually listen, he is trying to help and get that person to see things clearly and pull themselves up by themselves and for themselves to make postivie changes.

I think that people have this view that you got to pet people and be sympathetic and coddle. No, if I am screwing up and nothing else works, please give me a swift kick and a reality check.

I think Dr. Phil tells the truth and genuinely wants to help people.

Yes I love Dr. Phil too. I like how he tell it like it is and he doesn't sugar coat anything. I absolutely love his show. But he doesn't come off as fake to me.

I don't hate him, i just think sometimes he cares more about ratings than actually helping these people. He says things for the applause and i love when he says "now, I'm not judging you...." Its funny because he really is.

But he knows his stuff.
