today in society, sex is just something that people do. however, i have decided (for myself) to save sex for marrige. i know that the cances of me marrying someone who has made the same decision are rare, but i dont care, that is not why i am doing it.
how many of you out there, saved your self, or are saving your selves. if you arnt, or didnt, would you want to change it if you could.

I was trying to..had always been taught that way..until I made a mistake and gave it away before marriage...wish I wouldn't have..you're right it is rare to find another person like that but kudos to you if you do! You'll be glad you waited..way to many emotions come into play and with all the stresses of life anyway who needs one more thing to worry about.

I made the decision to save myself, but I broke that promise to myself. Part of me wishes I could change it, but then again I don't because I'm marrying the man I gave my virginity to this summer so at least he's the only person I've ever given myself to and vice versa for him.

My parents knew that I had made the decision to save myself for marriage, so for my sixteenth birthday they bought me a purity ring, it's a nice little reminder of the promise I made to myself, God, and my future husband whom ever he may be. But Yes I'm defiantly saving my self for marriage.

i did not and i would not change a thing.
i was not having indiscriminate sex with several people, just whoever i was in a long term relationship.
i think if you want to wait, that is very noble of you. but i cannot help but feel sorry for those who are 'waiting' for someone else who is 'waiting'. i have a friend who was one of my best friends in high school. she said she would wait....she is still waiting. she is 37 years old and i know she wants to get married and have lots of kids. while she is busy waiting on a virgin(she doesn't even kiss) her life is ticking on by...at home....with her parents.
it is noble, and very sad. i hope the 'wait' is worth it.

I did and I was pleasantly surprised to find a wife who did the same. So likeminded people are out there but you're right they are getting harder to find.
Neither my wife nor I have any regrets about waiting and I think you're doing exactly the right thing.

I suppose I am saving myself. I never planned to, it just kinda happened because I never met anyone worthy. But seeing all my friends have sex and regret it and have kids with stupid guys, I realize that it just ain't worth it. But I applaud what you are doing....kudos to you!

i'm tryin 2 be a virgin till i get married b-coz, to me sex is nature's way of sayin -u r married. i think i can just stick to french kisses till i find mr.right. moreover, i'm 43% (according to a survey) more safe from AIDS and herpes, compared to others who hav given it up. and i stand out from others 2.

i am saving myself. and what a gift it is. my one most important gift for my husband will be my virginity and my gift will be his. it's a wonderful thing to be pure. i had gotten a purity ring for my 14th birthday and i intend on keeping my promise. you are smart if you remain pure til marriage. :-)

Why worry what other people think? It is what you think that matters!
