For a woman who is smart, talented and was one of the few female astronauts to go into space, and have children, it is sad to see that, no matter how smart or how brilliant, that socially, she could not handle rejection from having accomplished so many other things in her life. She could not handle a broken heart and the feeling that she has been "used" or "duped" or whatever word you may used. For her to have this much of a breakdown to the point of attempted kidnapping and murder, really is sad and scary.

I think she set the space program back 10 years and put the adult diaper industry ahead by about the same.
