Hm, maybe I'm being generous with 78%...

That is because most conservatives do not listen to the propaganda of the left we are very realistic and most of us believe Bush has done a decent job. I will sum it up simply.

War againts radical Islam -good
Protecting the US-good
Cutting Taxes stimulating the economy-good
Appointing decent supreme court judges-good
Spending-poor
Protecting our border-poor.

These are 6 of the most important things that affect the US if we had the Democrats in there from the beginning we would have been 0 for 6 instead of 4 for 6 so as a conservative i think I am being very honest.

No, the large group of people who refuse to be honest with themselves are narrow-minded liberals like you who can only make themselves look better and feel better about themselves by bashing someone else. Republicans are intelligent enough to see that Dubya has become the Democratic Party's scapegoat. You bash Bush without giving any basis for your argument that he's a bad President other than the war in Iraq, and you idiots are still saying "We're fighting a war for oil." Get a new line! You also refuse to acknowledge the fact that we can fight the war on terrorism in the Middle East or we can fight it here, with millions of innocent Americans directly in harm's way. If you're so freakin' concerned about the plight of all the so-called "innocent" Iraqis that are supposedly being killed by American soldiers, why don't you do the humanitarian thing and go over to Iraq to offer them protection? Aren't you liberals supposed to be the ones that truly care about people?

P.S.: Here are some other facts that you have missed while whining about the Iraq War: (1) There hasn't been a single terrorist attack on American soil since our President established the Department of Homeland Security and went after a dictator that was harboring terrorist operatives. (2) The U.S. Armed Forces have over 300 confirmed kills of al-Qaeda operatives and leaders both in Iraq and Afghanistan. (3) Consumer spending is up as a direct result of the Bush Administration's tax breaks. (4) Contrary to the endless diatribe of "the rich get richer" put out by the mainstream liberal media, individual income and household earnings are up. (5) Add points 3 and 4 together and you get an economy that is improving, despite a certain flag-burning, dope-smoking, secretary-screwing, secret-selling, philandering son of a ***** who spent eight years sitting back and taking credit for a robust economy made possible by one Ronald Wilson Reagan while doing everything he could to make it crash and burn at the end of his orgy -- I mean term in office.

Bush is a lot smarter than you care to admit, but hey, your elected leaders have already done it for you. The same idiots who were saying "We're going to pull the troops out of Iraq and end the war" weren't even in office a month before they started saying "If we pull the troops out it would mean disaster for the Iraqi people." Are you people deaf?!?!! Don't you realize that your President was saying exactly that for over a year before the 2006 elections came around? Gee, I guess ol' George the Second isn't so dumb after all...

Like Bush or not he has done nothing while in office that he did not say he would do during his campaign. Therefore there is no reason for republicans to abandon him. He may not be the ideal but he is not as bad as some past presidents (IE Carter)
I think it is refreshing to have a politician who tells us what he will do before he gets elected, unlike the democrats who simply ran against everything, with no ideas of there own. They ran against the war but can't even get a non-binding resolution passed against it, and they don't have the guts to cut off funding because even though they say they are against the war they don't know a better way to handle it.

I can be absolutely honest and say that I support him completely. As he is where the buck stops, he's rightfully taking blame for a military engagement that has not gone as well as hoped, but has resulted in tremendous successes. Bush has no lack of resolve. This is a great thing for which, ironically, he is scorned for. On most other issues, he's right on.

Daily I pray for the safety of our troops, and thank Him that neither Al Gore nor John Kerry is commander-in-chief.

Imagine what a nightmare it would have been to have Al Gore as president. If we were so unlucky to have had that man in office, it would be a miracle if he could have handled the fall-out from the terrorist attacks in our country. George Bush is the best thing that ever happened to us - to have him leading our country when we were attacked.

We approve of Bush because he is doing what we voted for him to do. Which is stand up to terrorism and win the war in Iraq. So far he hasn't backed down and he shows no sign of backing down. You can call it being blind or whatever, but this is the truth. At least that's why I voted for him.

I'm not a republican but I support Bush. He has excelled at running this economy and the war on terror. His sucesses as a president outweigh his stumbling points and failures. The group of Supreme Court justices he chose will probably be his greatest legacy to the US.

The one's in denial are those who have been brainwashed by the media and judge him only by Iraq. But his spending has to be reigned in.

"refuse to be honost with themselves". That's a rather childish view. Just accept the fact that some people believe different.

There's already been loads of questions like this already today.

Because at the end of the day, he is still the president. You should try supporting your leadership, instead of believing everything you hear on the late show.
