that down deep he's bass. Should I amp up our relationship or just cut the chord? Please help me with some ideas.

Did you pick him or did he pick you? I do know that sometimes you need to mix it up in a relationship. Have you tried the group thing, or do you continue to perform as a duet? If it is not working, you may have to riff him and become a solo act again.

Your just strung out with stage fright, because you haven't touched bass with your feelings yet. Just give your boyfriend ample time to commit by getting him a sixpack as a cymbal of your love. Don't fret over it. In time he'll drum it into his head and come to realize that the song he's been writing was just a rough draft and that when he comes too, he'll write you a whole CD with your picture on it. That' love.
