I've had bad experiences with love triangles. They were either downright ridiculous, or a way to serve as a plot device. But to me, it doesn't matter if you use it. It's how you write it that matters. I'm not going to judge but what you've given us because even something that sounds good turns out to be written terribly later. So it all depends on the writing.

'Unchained Melody'........in my opinion, best song ever written, and I like it performed by all the artists who have kept it alive over the years.
