Household ammonia cleaned and lots of elbow grease. Make sure to have good cross ventilation.
And, do not mix any chlorine based product with any ammonia based product as that can result in a deadly chlorine gas.

When I was a kid I caught my bedroom on fire. the entire house had smoke damage though, and while it wasn't a grease fire, we cleaned every wall and ceiling with Fantastik. It worked well, plus it's a kitchen cleaner that cuts grease.
