Ok lets see:
At the moment it has to be ‘Heroes’, I downloaded ‘em, but it is coming to the UK on the Sci Fi channel soon. Why? Cos it frickin rules! I love Superheroes and I like that it has the guts to feature darker plot lines and grissly detail. It is more complex than my previous favourites or many TV shows of this genre, and finally a good reason to watch it is for the character Hiro Nakamura, a warm/adorable and hilarious character. Other favourites are: Smallville, Buffy and the good ol’ crumpled detective himself, ‘Columbo’.
Hooray!

At the moment, it's the new Battlestar Galactica. It's on Sky 1 on Tuesdays at 9.00. It's on the Sci-Fi Network in the States - shortly (if it hasn't already) to be moved from Fridays to Sundays.
Whilst it does seem to have been written by Grim McGrim of Grimsby on a particularly grim day whilst in a grim mood, it is beautifully written, wonderfully acted and absolutely gripping.
Even the non-genre press (such as TV Guide, the Guardian, the New York Times ad infinitum) have nothing but praise for it.
I highly recommend it.

Soul Food; BET 74 (at my home); Why: B/c I can relate to the family. It is something that most African american families go through on a daily basis. I remember spending quality time with family like they do on Soul food. But now all that has changed. Of course, we all have had a big mama in our family that will knock you to kingdom come if you smart mouth off to her or did something you are not suppose to do. That is just the way some of us was taught but when big mama of the family dies, it just tears the family apart and things are never the same again. She is deeply missed but there is always the oldest one that tries to patch things up when the rest of family make it difficult.

24 on Fox! It's the greatest show I've watched in a while. It's full of excitement and there is never a dull moment. Even though it can be very far fetched, the story line is still very interesting.

"The Amazing Race" on CBS
Because it gives you a glimpse of other cultures and places many won't travel to. You get to see how different people work together or don't. You can see what drives people - will they play dirty or have integrity and what exactly does that mean? Will they be creative?
I also like "Heroes" on NBC on Monday nights. Creative storyline. Not the usual murder theme.
