Sorry to have to disagree.
Only Star Trek TOS hadat least 20 scripts where people were allowed to solve any problem, find some sort of resolution. Aside from problems with the universal translator and overuse of transporters, it was a series far better written, acted and produced than the others.
DS9's producers wasted half their stories on silly Ferengi behavior mislabeled as capitalism, which it wasn't; but the producers had an interesting, complex background to draw from and did some very thoughtful shows in my opinion.
Voyager, Enterprise and Next Generation all suffered from childish thinking abd ideasfar too often. It took Next Generation's producers two years to stop ripping off TOS and to find their own direction--which turned out to be decent production, mediocre acting by guests stars and quibbling about the Prime Directive and the Holodeck.
Voyager's producers at least tried to do something a bit different, but wasted half their time on 7-of--9.
Enterprise had a nice cast except for the Captain who couldn't do a classical accent, but not one show they ever did worked believably as far as I judged.
So: TOS then DS-9, next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise.
Thanks for the question.

Next Generation was the one that got me hooked. I grew up watching it, so it holds a special place in my heart. All of the episodes were so thoughtful and creative, and they really got me thinking.

I hated DS9 in the beginning because it was so different, but after going back and watching all of the reruns, I am so very impressed by the darker story lines. I feel like they are so relevent right now.

Voyager I liked because it really played around with the idea of time and the temporal prime directive, which I thought was even more mind bending.

I was just starting to get into Enterprise when it was cancelled, so I don't really know a lot about it.

I think that the original was so groundbreaking, though. Especially given the budget and the limited effects the show had to work with. It is so incredible the imagination it took to come up with material that people were really seeing for the first time, and to put ideas into people's heads that they never would have thought of before.

I think I am going to say:
TNG
TOS
Voyager
DS9
Enterprise

That is a tough question. I love The Next Generation because it was the first show that got me hooked on the Star Trek series. However, DS9 became my favorite...especially when Dax and Worf finally hooked up. I stopped watching when she died, but eventually I went back after the series was over and watched the episodes I'd missed. DS9 had such a great premesis and we got to care about many different characters. AHH! This is a hard decision. I guess I will have to go with DS9 over TNG.

If an epsiode from all the series was on at the same time, I'd watch the original, even if I have seen them all several times. Something about it (maybe it's even nostalgia) that makes me want to watch it.

TNG was very good, liked the characters, good effects.

One thing that annoyed me about ST aliens, is that they're all human with some different colored skin, or a bony ridge, ofr big ears. Guess it's a budget thing, but couldn't they come up with non-humanoid aliens? At least the original one did with that blob thing in one episode.

The original will always be my favorite. That's the one that started it all. If it weren't for them their wouldn't be any others to choose from. The characters have come to be like family to me. I've come to love them all and have really gotten where i like voyager. But Kirk will always outrank everybody.

I loved "next generation." It was very Twilight Zone-esque at times.
