My daughter has a raincoat that has been packed away. How do you get the wrinkles out? (obviously you can't iron it - it would melt!) Has anyone heard any tricks on how to make it look like new again?

Sure put the dryer on delicate and put it in for 4 or 5 minutes...

hand wash it in the bathroom with really hot water (use rubber gloves) then hang it to dry on a coat hanger brushing it straight with your hands; you could also turn on the bathroom heater and if still more work is required use a hair dryer but be careful as it can get too hot ; brush coat with naked hand so that you can feel the heat and adjust the settings ; you could let your daughter help so that she learns how it is done------ perhaps you could try the hair dryer first as the coat may not need washing

I would put it on "fluff" in the dryer, or if your iron has a steam setting, just put it on steam and move it around over the rain coat with out touching it. Also, you might try the Downey Wrinkle Release spray.
