our love is so natural
but one of a kind
that desirous feeling
so hard to find

when we first met
i knew you'd be mine
and we both knew it
we saw the signs

eathing watermellon in bed
one of my favorite times
your natural scent
so rare but so fine

i see my future child
in your eyes
one day he'll know
why his daddy is mine.

i mean, if you were a 27 yr old guy reading this, would you feel uncomfortable?

If we were planning on getting married no. If we were dating for a short time, I'd run.

Very sweet..
I think he would think that it was very thoughtfull of you..
I would just make it a little more personal.Something that can only apply to you two..memories that you share together.
I like the "Watermelons in bed" part...Describe the "signs"that you had..
Put some other things that you guys did together..
guys love the fact that you remember some of the things, when they tried to be romantic with you.
it is very hard for them to be romantic in the first place..Valentines Day is a very hard time for most guys..
"What to do..What to do..?"

Mornin, I gotta trust Silent, yet i like her besides, yet i will advise a pair issues devoid of offense meant. It loves you too is an assumption, in some cases in a feeling uncertain, yet I have not any situation with it relatively. no longer particular in case you pick this to rhyme in couplets of in any respect as in loose verse, i might try this in couplets or quatrains in case you pick it to rhyme, IE: L one million I mighta further actuality to end the line, then bumped "got here across" to an L 3, or maybe 4. undecided how flea relates, or that passage after? i think of in some reverence to God i would not have lined "Ha" i might too have not used foul, a minimum of no longer devoid of yet another comma. besides I see it havin extra effect, rather well worth the attempt if ya edit it some.

Are you trying to tell him you're pregnant? That's what I would think. And the part that says "his daddy is mine". Sounds like your child's father is also your father. I would just leave out the last part. The rest sounds good though. Don't forget to use spell check.

You know your guy better than I do, so if he is the sweet senstive type or if you're slyling announcing a new edition to the family (smile) its great, but if he's the two fisted, beer guzzling Rambo type, I might want to reconsider!!!

I think it's sweet. He won't feel uncomfortable if he feels the same way you do. You spelled watermelon wrong and it is eatting, not eathing. Be sure to put it in a handmade card, not Hallmark.

My opinion - a good poem, but how about these slight alterations?
That desired feeling

and

Why his daddy is my Valentine.

Some guys like poems, others do not. You know him better than we do. Is he going to get misty, or is he going to grunt, lay it down and say "Where's dinner?"

It's a nice poem, and he should like it, IF he's the first type.

If it comes from your heart, then it's not stupid or cheesey at all. As long as you mean what you wrote, he will love it.
