I'm i pregnant or not?

hi everyone can anyone help? my period is over due by just a few days but my last period was very light and shorter than normal. I took a test a week ago which was negitive but now my breasts are a bit sore and my belly is bigger than normal i also seem to need the toilet a bit more but had no morning sickness or any of the other signs i don't know if to take another test or whether i am just worrying over nothing. My belly also feels like there is something moving around in there my last period was jan 2nd

i didn't mean like i could feel a baby or anything i meant it feels like bubbles and i work with someone who when she was in her first tremester had a bigger belly than normal.

for those of you who have already answered nicely i thank you but for those of you who think i am paranoid or stupid this is the reason i ask my question. About april last year i had missed a period i took a test and it was positive i was so excited i went to the doctors on the monday and he did a test there and then and it was positive i had my blood taking a week later result was negitive the only thing doc could come up with was that i was pregnant for a short time and lost it and sure enough my period arrived 6 weeks later as heavy as you could get i was so dissappointed so now i have the same thing and don't want to get my hopes up again only to be dissappointed. So forgive me if i sound paranoid and stupid.

you should head to the doctor's asap to get it checked out. If you are pregnant, the test could have been a false negative. Good luck!

Take another pregnancy test! False negatives are common.Use your first pee in the morning,or at least make sure not to drink a whole lot of liquid before you test.You might have some bloating in your tummy, but the moving around feeling couldn't be the baby so soon (gas?).
If you're pregnant we're duedate buddies! My last period was Jan.3rd and I'm due Oct.10th! Good luck!
Also,Muchacha is wrong..it's very common to have sore breasts and increased urination even before your period is late.Those are classic early pregnancy signs!

I would advise to take another test.
I think the feelings in the stomache are 'psychological'.
I felt this way a few times when i thought I might be pregnant.
I would say at 4weeks pregnant at the most is a little early for felt movements.
Im trying for a baby at the moment and every month I seem to think the same things but it turns out to be a dissapointment.
Tests arn't that expensive, put your mind at ease and repeat the test.

wait untill you are overdue by a week or so, last week may have been too early to tell, however if you are pregnant you wouldnt feel a baby movin at this stage... around 18 - 22 weeks for first timers!

EDIT.. you are not paranoid and you can have those affects that early on, i thought i was at least 6 weeks ahead of my given due date as my stomach swelled early, i was tender and forever on the toilet... I was only 6 weeks! but alas the dd stayed the same an i am currenlty waiting for the 18th March to see my lil man!

My guess from what you are telling us all is that you're NOT pregnant. Your body must be going through a phase, and it's just messing up what you would call a normal cycle.

As for the movements, even if you were pregnant, you would NOT be able to feel the baby move. You would only be about 4 weeks along, and you usually don't feel the "butterflies" as there called until you're about 12 weeks or more. At this stage a embryo is still developing and you wouldn't be able to feel it move. The feelings your having are not that of a pregnancy.

Also your stomach would not be bigger either. Most woman skinny or not will not start to show until their about 4 months along. I could be wrong on this, however at 4 wks you would not show.

It’s safe to say that you are not pregnant.

the same thing happened to me. the reason why you think that all this things are happening to you is beacuse there is a possibility of being pregnant.

these symtoms dont happen to u until later into the pregnancy.
don't stress it that makes your period even later.
give it a few more days and if nothing happens take a pregnancy test.

If your period was not actually overdue yet when you took that test then take another one. If it is negative as well but you continue to feel like something is not right and you don't start your period then go see your doctor and find out what is going on. Good luck.

Hunnie for 1 if there is a baby in there you wont feel it as its only the size of your thumb nail. 2: Just take another test it wont harm you 3: if its negative wait a week and do anotherone or simply go to the doctors

i really feel for u love i really do..i cant help much unfortunately.im in the same position at the min.my period is 6 days late.took two pregnancy tests and both said negative...we been tryin now for 13 months and still no luck,only this month there is more hope with my period not coming.i know how it feel.got funny feelin in my tummy and sore breasts as well.but i think our heads play tricks with us when we want somethin so bad.2 and a half years ago i lost my son 6 weeks after he died which was unreal pain,still is.now we want another so wat i can say is never give up hope and hope u get wat u want..so heres to us both gettin our own wee miracle.just addin a wee bit on{a few days later on monday 12th feb}.dont build up ur hopes.unfortunately my period come on fri night when i was least expectin it.so gutted now.all i could do was cry..dont give up though but watever u do dont assume ur pregnant.i did and hoped more than anythin i was but im not.heres to keep on tryin.hope u get wat u want...

i'm not really an expert on this kind of thing but i'd say it's a bit 2 soon to feel something movin inside if you were pregnant. i definately think you should go to the doctors though, they will probably test to see if you're pregnant and if not some other tests aswell to make sure there's nothing wrong with you. hope everythings ok!

Take another urine test, if it's negative and you still think you might be pregnant then go to the nearest hospital and request a blood test. They are much more accurate, plus if it comes back positive you can see a doctor the same or next day! :) Good luck.
