It could be the ligaments stretching but if you are concerned its better to get checked out

its sciatic pain
i get it all the time
both sides
depending where she is lying

its your baby's weight on top of a nerve

my legs actually numb from the waist down - its a very sharp pain - i can be sitting, walking or standing

Dr told me to lay on the side opposite to where it hurts to encourage bubs to move

You cud ask hubby 4 a massage as well

All the best ;)))

I had the same problem but it was on the left side, midway up my back. After a week it went away. Watch how you sleep and sit (don't hunch over).

Hey, I used to have the same pain with both of my pregnancy's, I have always been told that it is the sciatic nerve, it is not harmful, just really painful, my pains used to shoot down my leg as well. Just wait, it seems to get worse as you get "bigger"

You may have pulled a muscle. You may have a kidney infection or something go to your Dr and tell him/her what has been going on.

It could be just where your baby is laying. I would mention it to your OB next time you're in.

I would call my obgyn and ask him/her about your pain. They might want you to come in for an examination.
