Cut the green wire approximately 4 inches above tyhe connection. After you have made the cut, stand in bucket of water and insert wire end in mouth, then pee on the main panel.

I would say if you are trying to hot wire a car I know for a fact its the red one because I hot wired my uncles car before.

according to what you want to do with them. if your planning on connecting them to something to access power, use the green for ground and the red for hot power wire. if you are going to come in contact with them without knowing if there is any power to them the same applies here. on some applications white is common, green is ground and black is hot. on another white is common, red is hot, black is hot and green is ground. and so forth.

In the States, red is live so I'd keep the ol' scissors away from it! Green for me.
