We would need to know the species to help the most. You can try the care sheets available at http://www.austinsturtlepage.com for help.

To give you an example:

Pond turtles eat mostly worms, bugs, small crustaceans, snails, etc. when young and add more greens to their diet as they get older.

Box turtles eat mostly insects, snails, worms, etc. and whatever fruit, mushrooms, adn other veggies they can find- along with some carrion.

Grassland tortoises eat mostly grasses adn hays, with some veggies, less fruit, and a little proteins.

Forest tortoises eat litle grasses, more fruits and proteins, and lots of leafy greens.

Sea turtles (which are illegal as pets) eat mostly jellyfish and other ocean creatures.

There are many other groups here. Most good pet shops carry a variety fo diet foods- aquatic turtle, box turtle, and tortoise that will help, but they are not all that great for many species, and shold only be part of the diet of most others.

turtles like vegetables and carrots that kind of stuff and make sure you always have fresh water or else the turtle could be infected by drinking dirty water
