For lyrics it's not a patch on Eleanor Rigby or She's Leaving Home(especially the Esther Ofarim version which is wonderful)

I doubt it very much. It's a great song with a really cool bass line from Macca, but check out its 'b' side.... 'I Am The Walrus' is truly one of the greatest songs of all time.

I shouldn't think you're the only one. I like it a lot, tho' it's not my fave, but it was great when Macca used it to open his set when I saw him in Barcelona 4 years ago! Have you heard the 'Anthology' version with a raunchier guitar part? well sound!
