Well, i'll cast aside the argument about whether or not liberals hate america for the moment...
They should be able to help decide the nation's future because they're americans. I'll elaborate.
American ideals center around things such as the bill of rights and freedom of expression, so they deserve to have their voices be heard as well.
Then there's the matter of voting and elections. If a liberal runs for office and is elected, what right have you or anyone to deny them their place in america's government?
I ask you. If you truly love america, if you truly believe in america and all it stands for, why do you insinuate that people you don't agree with don't deserve to be heard? Isn't that what makes america great?

You can't judge them all from the stupid few in their ranks. Generally, they have a good group and it's those that should take part in the future of this country. We have to over look the idiots who got where they are because of the money their parents left them or they married into. Granted, I've met more idiot liberals than not idiots but that doesn't mean they are all like that.
Root for the non-idiots and to the ones who are idiots, flip them the bird...I do.

I am sick of politicians putting politics above what is good for this nation as a whole. The Democrats were so busy trying to get back some power that they took their party over their country to an extreme. They are still doing it with wanting us not to win this war. AMERICA FIRST - political parties a distant 5th or so...

Liberals don't hate America...they just hate what has happened to America. Big difference. And if conservatives were more honest with themselves, they would agree that they hate alot about this America too.
It doesn't have to stay this way, and if both sides worked together....America could become the powerful and respected nation it once was. But as long as both sides continue to fight like children, with name calling and mud slinging, nothing will be done to help the situation.
GROW UP EVERYONE! A country is suffering because of your arrogance and inability to play nicely with others in the sandbox!

I think, at this point, it's especially important that liberals make all of the decisions moving forward... to stop the spread of fascism.

This is the message of right wing talk shows that if one is liberal in the US we all hate America. We do not hate our country we have come to hate/dislike the direction our country has taken.
When religious right took over the Republican Party they now control party of the "big tent." According to big tent the GOP welcomes all into the party. But when you enter the tent it is just one ring circus of pro gun, pro war, anti gay, pro life and pro tax cuts for the rich.

Since we won the mid terms and are going to win the Presidency in '08, it seems liberals will have a big part in deciding the future of America. I'm not going to respond to the bigoted half of your question.

Deary, don't you know? The liberals are smarter than you and you must elect them because you are incapeable of making your own decisions. You must give them your money because only they know how to best spend it (special interest groups). You must do as they say and not as they do.
