I warned people about this happening, but nobody listens to me. People need to see their physicians before starting out on an exercise regimen.
The secret is to do it slowly. For boxing, no matter how fast you can punch, the Wii still has trouble translating it into game movements.

It seems to have that effect if you are not an active person. I think it is a great way to get the "traditional" stereotypical gamer to actualy do some sort of exercise instead of sitting in front of the TV/Computer all day. Maybe it will eventually lead to a healthier population, especially in younger children, as they will want to get up and move to play the games!
I know I was sore after I played Wii Sports for the first time! But to rest, there are also games you can play sitting down, like Excite Truck.

the first day i got the wii i think i played too hard and i hurt the next day. but as i soon realized, i dont need to be as "active" as i was. i was swinging the controller like a madman. you really dont need to do that. take it easy and you will be ok.

The secret with the Wii is you don't need to use huge arm movements if you don't want to. Just flicks of the wrist will suffice most of the time.
