Hello,
I am not trying to be a prophet of doom, and never claimed I would ever want to be. but for me, the the worst thing that could happen is that this world should suffer another World War, that had escalated with the current War in the Middle East. for to bring so much carnage and finality to the world and its population over a thing such as OIL, would be a terrible thing to happen, but alas, such is the cost to all mankind for having World Leaders, like we all voted into power. So any War on such a scale would probably be all our own fault. So it is well past the time when we should all be gathering around the negotiating table before it is too late, and astop this atrocious War NOW, it gives us all a chance then to ask your Question again.... We presume to think that we can "fix" everything, and don't sit back to watch and learn. We also don't take hints and clues from mother nature, which has been around since the beginning of time (evolving, but still here). Our own loftiness causes our demise.

You need to be more specific. The worst that can happen to you, your family, the country, the world.
Ultimately the worst that can happen is extinction, to you, your family, the country, the world. Of course after it happens, you could care less.
