When I was about 7 I went to camp...and one of the other children had some form of retardation. I made fun of him when other kids did...and I frequently think about that whenever I see someone in this condition. It is one of the things that I am most ashamed of. He had a difficult enough life without my contribution. Children are a lot more capable of right and wrong then people give credit for. I knew what I was doing was wrong at the time....I just didn't want to seem different to the rest of the people attacking him.

No, I never did anything nasty or mean to other kids. I was too quiet and shy myself. But I had a few mean things done to me !
I hope they still feel guilty !

No, I was usually the kid that a select few targeted for name calling and dragging through the mud. I was shy and introverted. I don't however, hold any grudges these days for those people. We were young, and kids are always ruthless. No worries here.

No, but I'm still ticked about getting in trouble for something. There was this girl who was picking on me, a real nasty kid, and I pushed her off the merry-go-round and had to be all nice to her and get a wet paper towel to clean off her skinned elbow. I was so ticked. She totally deserved it.

no, i was the quiet and shy type. i had alot of abuse by other kids; but, as my mother said, "people who are mean to others are not happy with themselves!"

i never really did anything, my friends would...and i woud sit there and laugh...i feel bad about it now that i have a daughter and she gets picked on from time to time
