I guess I'm wondering as far as water content and additives. Who has a good reputation for keeping water out?

i own a repair shop, and i always use raceway or any bp,which is gulf, and never have any problems from either of those two,i tried Texaco once, and it didn't do as good as it did in the gulf gas,i always try and get gulf if possible, but when i cant ,i will use raceway or shell ,i stay way from stations that have low parking lots ,especially if their tanks are under ground, the collect a lot of water from a hard rain,if i was you id buy gas from the busiest place in town ,this means your less likely to get bad gas, good luck,i hope this help,s.

I have heard this question before, all gasoline is proven to be the same, but different companies add different additives to the gas. It depends on where you are from. If you have Wawa stations where you are from, I would go there. Some gas stations put cleaning agents in their gas, like the "Shell" and "BP" stations. Its better to get gas with very low additives, no matter how good they say they work.

Chevron, Shell, BP, Raceways. are high quality fuel. Don't buy gas at Wal-Mart, EZ-mart. Because it have some water in it. If you cant find any of these places Just go to several different gas station and look at the prices Just go for the little more expensive ones.

Mobil used to be highly rated but I do not know anymore.
Around here I can still find some stations that advertise no Alcohol.
One is a BP Amoco the other is a Chevron.

My friend works for Saturn and they get reports from the gasoline companies. She said BP/Amoco has better quality for your car, but it burns faster cause they put fuel injector cleaning agents in it, but Citgo is supposedly the worst for your car because the stuff they put in it makes it burn slower, but gums up your cars works. That's just what I heard, but I don't know how realiable of a source she is.
