Lets think about this. USA had a chance to do something in this past World Cup. We sucked! Bruce Arena did nothing. The majority of our boys didn't show up donovan and beasley. We're not the best in the world. Won't be for awhile. With a new coach and players getting more experience playing over in preimer like McBride, Bocanegra, and now dempsey. And there's more playing aboard in other countrys. Our national team is slowly appoarching the top. I would like to see us win the world cup next time around, but i hope its nothing like 2006. But we also have a young team. And with real football becoming more popular in america...its just a matter of time.

In 1994 and 2002 they were more focus and reach far interms of team player and togetherness. I think USA need to spend time with thier youth programs if they want to reach far in the number 1 sports in the world.look at other countries youth programs such as teams like:Brasil,Argentina,Germany,Italy,France, Holland, England, these teams show some consistent and have a dedicated programs for youth and development in place.

No,they are not the best soccer team in the world.The only way they have become the best soccer team in the world is to win the world cup or beat these teams:Brazil,Italy,Germany,France.
