No. I didn't with my first and am not with this one either (37 weeks). Women have been having babies for thousands of years without the classes, and somehow our species has kept going. Now, if you WANT to take the classes, it won't hurt anything. Nothing wrong with having extra knowledge under your belt. :) Good luck!

Really all they tell you is common sense. Maybe if you've never been around babies before you might want to, otherwise... waste of time and money!

unless you are complete unversed in the world of newborns and have NO support from family and friends, then no. Its a waste of time and effort.

no. youll figure out how to bathe and change your baby somehow w/o going to classes once a week.
