I just watched a show on discovery about babies in the womb...they say they are unable to make sounds in the womb for the fact there is no air in their lungs to do so..so the sounds of crying no but as far as tears I know they don't form tears until their a month or 2 old outside of the womb.....so I say no as far as actual crying...maybe they just go through motions in the womb...good question

Yes, once babies hit a certain gestational age they do start crying in the womb.

I took this class in college and we watched this video on abortion...really quick in pro life I am completely again abortion...They brought in the vaccum and you could clearly hear cries and screams, they werent loud but you could hear them. They connected a microphone or something to the vaccum somehow. It was the so sad.......so the answer to your question is yes they do cry in the womb.....sorry for the extra details I needed that to show you where I got my answer.

yes. They makes the faces, and practice those breathing patterns. They react to noises, movements, and just because, with faces and motions that are identical to a newborn crying.

Yes. They practice it, but don't actually make any sounds because of the fact that there's no air in there.

I really don't think so since they do not use their lungs until they are born and the umbilical cord is cut. I might be wrong though.

I don't believe they can, their lungs would fill with amniotic fluid and they would drown.
