I'm usually surprised by which of my answers are chosen. When I think I'll get best answer, I don't and when I think I won't, I do.

Same here. I think I am being incredibly witty and evidently the asker has no sense of humor. LOL. Either that or maybe it is me that has a warped sense of humor and no one thinks I'm funny. Then when I'm serious everyone laughs. Gee Whiz

yes you have a point. i always think that i 'll never get chosen when there r lots of answers (ie over 18) and then miracle : the guy/girl saw clear! i endeavour to always pick the best answer to my Q as it has to be deserved or at least i leave them a comment if not brilliant. a bit like a teacher...

I firmly believe all my answers are the best answer.
That's because I never give my adoring public anything but my very best.
I don't always get Best Answer because my evil twin, Krondor the evil and diligent, works so evilly, and diligently to thwart my plans.

Sometimes but often I get best answer for some top of my head answer. Other times I think I do have the best answer but they pick someone else. =(

same here. I just got best answer for a question I answered only yes to while others did also and was chosen best. But hey I'm not complaining thanks to all who choose me.

well sometimes, but mine best answers are usually in the fish dept- cause I am good about that and I have a website about it... I guess that is why.

Same here....when I put time and effort I get zilch.
When I shoot something off the cuff...I get best answer.
