Both! I am a doctor and that girl was obviously suffering from anoxic encephalopathy and he showed his pandering to the right-to-lifer a s s on that one! I don't like politicians who sell out for votes which makes me dislike most all of them, but Frist should have his medical license pulled as an incompetent for that one! Only problem is that the Medical Board is afraid of his power and since they are appointed they are afraid that they will lose their appointments if they go after him for incompetence
btw: The autopsy proved that what I said above about the diagnosis was true and that there had been and never was a chance of her improving!!!!!

Heck no. Bill Frist took the right course of action as a doctor. Do no harm. Secondly, the Terry Schiavos case had more inconsistencies on the part of her husband that the liberal media wanted to ignore.

The GOP had to pander to the base the religious right one way to get the news of Iraq off the front pages and deal an issue that congress had no business dealing with. Seems when it comes to compassion by conservatives they are selective when it comes to help.

Bill Frist used the condition of a girl who was not to get any better to further his political career. I lost respect for him as a doctor, a politician and as a human being.

I would have thought so much more of him if he walked in her room and pulled the plug on his way to perform a partial birth abortion.
Oh, wait a minute, I'm not a liberal. I RESPECT HIM as both a Dr. and a politician MORE for what he tried to do...SAVE a life.

Oh I am gonna go with both. The man was a ridiculous joke for interfering in something like that. So much for keeping government out of our lives.
Of course when he said you could catch Aids through tears that didnt really impress me with his skills either.

Both.
As a doctor, he should never have made a video diagnosis (but, let's face it, that was really politically motivated and she was being used as a prop for him).
As a politician, he should have never specifically involved himself in this case.
Making laws for specific people is a VERY VERY VERY bad precedent to set.
Edit: Come to think of it, though, I never really did have much respect for dr. cat killer anyway.

No. Terri Schiavo was murdered by her husband, who was just tired of having to deal with her and wanted to move on to the next thing.
I lost faith in Bill Frist because he failed to defend conservative principles from attack by the liberals and socialists in the democraT party.
