lol i don't think every one read that it's a laptop..... lol
make sure you unplug and remove the battery before you do anything.... the static electricity can short out your circuits....
if it's light enough, and you know you're not going to drop it,,, turn it upside down, on an angle and lightly shake it to get the loose crumbs out. then, use caned air to spray them. start at one end, and go back and forth until you get to the other end. you'll be amazed at what you get out of it.....
DO NOT POP THE KEYS OFF OF THE LAPTOP.... it's so not worth it. the canned air should do the trick. worse comes to worse, take it to a laptop or computer repair center and ask them to clean it for you. for 20 bucks or so, they'll clean all of your connections and screen, keys, etc. and it'll look like brand new. also, by the way,,,, do not use regular window cleaner on your laptop screen.... it will melt it. use alcohol or an alcohol based lcd screen cleaner.
good luck, hope that helps!!!

A vacuum cleaner brush works well for crumbs.
Also the keys of an external traditional keyboard pop off easily, just pry them off with a pen. Then push them back on. The laptop MAY be different! Some laptops the whole keyboard comes off as one piece.. I would have to see yours to be sure. You can tell by looking at it. If the keys are not connected - they pop off. If your not sure - don't try this.

The simplest thing would be to just turn the keyboard over, and shake out the crumbs.
If that doesn't work, try using compressed air. Or you can get cans of compressed gas at office supply stores. It has a trigger and a long wand, so you can point it just where you want it.
On most keyboards I've seen, you can remove the keys by lifting them up or prying them up. Slip a screwdriver or knife blade under the edge of a key at the edge of the board, and gently pry up. On mine they pop right off with a little bit of effort. You should be able to pop a few off and clean up most of the crumbs.
Finally, (and I DON"T recommend this one), one of the techs in my office puts his keyboard under the faucet, and rinses it out with water. He swears it doesn't do any damage. He shook out the excess water, let the keyboard dry out, plugged it in, and it worked fine. Try this at your own risk.

I would get a can of compressed air, turn the computer completely off, and pull the battery to make sure all circuits are dead.
Blow carefully under the keys - especially the stuck one. Don't pop them off, some are hard to get back on, or easy to break.

You need to use a small, flat bladed screwdriver to pop each key off individually.
Once you get the key cap off, you can use simple green (my favorite) to clean it, then put it in a bowl of water to get the simple green off and then dry the key cap off before you put it back on the machine.
While you have the key caps off you can easily clean the area under them with a can of spray air or a small vacuum cleaner.

I agree with the above suggestions. Canned air or a vacuum is your best bet.
It's not worth your time to take the keyboard apart. Keyboards are so cheap nowadays, you can simple buy a new one.

Buy a new one if it is really bad. You can get a keyboard for less than $10.00 A can of compressed air will work well (if it is not liquid) but the air will be about $5.00

Canned Air I will help dislodge the junk and a vaccum will suck it up. If you need extra help, try some Grubby Sticks.

with the laptop off. turn it upside down, with the laptop open of course, and gently tap and move it around while tapping. next use a can of compressed air to blow out what remains. then use the air regularly to keep it clean.

Get one of those cans of air. They have a little tube that blows out a powerful spray of air, it should dislodge anything in there. They're pretty inexpensive too.
