I would definately keep what i have. To gain the world, would mean taking on the responsibility of everything that goes with it. Not good for the blood pressure.

No, because I never win at anything.
I am the unlikiest person alive, if there is one faulty item in an entire warehouse I would be the one to buy it.
I did win a holiday once, but that was because my wife and I had the one and only 100% correct quiz entry, if there had been just 1 more correct entry we would definitely have been second.

what if you got the world? what then? People far too often have big dreams and wantwant want. There is nothing wrong with wanting and having dreams but have you ever noticed there is very little modesty in this world anymore? Its just like your question all or nothing. Look at the average size of houses being built, look at the new churches that get built. Nothing i smodest aymore, its like "see look at what I got" "look at me, im better than you"
You all can have that lifestyle, and hope you enjoy it. As for me, I am happy with what I got in life, I got a great wife, we have plenty of memories, got our health. You can have the world.

As with all gambles it depends on the odds and on how much you stand to win/lose. Someone who is homeless is more likely to make such a gamble than some well-off but with dependents as they have far more to lose.

I don't know what you mean by "gain the world" , but no. The bet isn't worth it ... I would lose more than I would gain.

Life's a risk. You gotta take it. Plus I don't have that much to lose.

yes. I have often wondered about making a deal with the devil. Similar sort of thing. Have everything now , lose everything later.
