I am brazilian, but I lived in the Oakland area for 4 years (2000-2004)
I am back in BRazil now, but unfortunatelly I miss Michigan a lot!
why???????????????????????

Maybe you miss the snow, or the freezing wind and rain.

I sure wish "global warming" would kick in. They've talked about it for 35 years and all we get is 1 degree increase every 100 years. My mother said they used to grow oranges in north Florida when she was little, but not anymore because it's too cold.

I can't say I'd want to live in Michigan, to tell the truth.

I live in Michigan and I certainly don't know why you would miss it...a lot have changed in the past few years....people are leaving in the droves.....Michigan is economically depressed and has one of the highest jobless rates in the nation....we have a queen for Governor that needs to go back to Canada....we missed our opportunity to have a very successful business man to put us back on the right track with the last elections....people are whining and crying....but we just tell them...hey...we didn't vote for her.

You poor thing... take really cold showers until you can see reason again and consider yourself lucky to NOT be in Michigan right now.
